JOB DESCRIPTION

Dcode is looking for a passionate Senior Program Manager, who has experience delivering services to government clients, specifically the Army.  As a senior program manager, you will lead customer engagements focused on operationalizing innovation in the federal market. You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with senior government leaders and helping them change the way they operate to be more agile and innovative and better equipped to adopt emerging technologies. It's fast paced and exciting!

Salary range: $110,000- $135,000 plus bi-annual bonuses

Security clearance eligibility required.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer Success

  • Become a trusted advisor and partner for Dcode’s government customers as they work to bring innovative, agile, and integrate cutting-edge technologies into their missions
  • Establish clear client retention goals and milestones, consistently checking in on progress toward goals
  • Anticipate customer needs and proactively craft solutions  
  • Provide creative, novel perspectives and approaches to how the government operates in the areas of policy, acquisitions, finance, culture, and processes, in order to drive innovation and agility inside their missions
  • Ensure we deliver exceptional quality and superior value-add work to our customers on time and above expectations
  • Deliver workshops, write assessments and reports, and analyze qualitative and quantitative data to help customers solve their toughest problems
  • Proactively collect feedback from the customer, review customer concerns and improve the customer experience

 

Contract Management

  • Review and understand contract terms and conditions to ensure Dcode is compliant with customer contracts at all times
  • Continuously monitor risks and propose solutions for fast resolution
  • Implement strong communication plans with customers related to contract status, risks, issues, opportunities, etc.
  • Monitor contract spending, deliverables, and burn rates; work closely with leadership and operations to ensure timely invoicing and contracting actions
  • Manage resourcing to ensure target profitability is met
  • Monitor customer needs and have a keen eye to opportunities for account expansion

Qualifications

KEY SKILLS

You’ll learn something new every day in this role. We’ll teach you the ropes but ideal candidates will have:

  • 7+ years of relevant work experience
  • Prior experience leading government-facing client work and managing (and retaining) government contracts, preferably with the Army
  • Knowledge and/or exposure to software acquisition projects
  • Understanding and comfort with agile project management
  • Interest and knowledge in technology innovation trends and current events
  • A keen ability to listen to customers and discern needs
  • Experience with account expansion
  • Strong understanding of contracting, preference given to experience working on or managing IDIQs and associated task orders
  • Strong subject matter expertise in one or more of the following areas: government finance and budgeting, processes re-engineering, and/or government culture-change
  • The ability to work without being closely managed and the ability to continuously WOW
  • Strong executive presence
  • Ability to challenge customer mindsets and offer alternative ways of approaching work while maintaining professionalism
  • Proven problem-solving, self-management, and organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
